The role
FPGA development on an advanced level with VHDL and/or Verilog, with a focus on low-latency and high dataload applications. Use of technologies such as HLS (High Level Synthesis) and more intensive use of ready-made IP blocks to accelerate the development process. Combined FPGA / CPU development, often using "homebrewn" System on Module products. Depending on the application area, you will have to emphasize and balance speed, safety and reliability. You can be involved in the full product development lifecycle.
What we ask
- A Bsc or Msc in Electronics or Computer Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5+ years experience with VHDL and/or Verilog
- Experience with various FPGA's from different vendors (Xilinx, Intel etc.)
- Experience developing solutions for a wide range of industries and applications
- Experience with high (data) load systems and low-latency applications
- Experience with full development cycle, including design and test/verification
- Knowledge of modern build pipelines (CI/CD) and development methodologies
- Knowledge of HW/SW integration, RTL, firmware development, HLS
- Additional programming skills (C, C++, Python) considered a strong plus
