The role
As our Electrical Lead at Skytree, you will develop electrical systems for the Skytree CO2 capture machines, with a focus on power electronics. You will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, conduct analysis, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations to deliver innovative CO2 capture machines.
Your experience will help create reliable and efficient electrical systems that meet the requirements of our customers and contribute to the overall success of Skytree’s CO2 capture machines.
You'll make an impact by:
- Successfully lead the Electrical team, ensuring timely delivery of projects and work packages, and significantly contribute to achieving product milestones.
- Creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation;
- Conducting thorough analysis and calculations to ensure optimal electrical design and efficiency
- Selecting and evaluating electrical components and subsystems to meet product requirements
- Working on debugging and launching new prototypes of SkyTree CO2 capture machines
- Performing electrical simulations and modeling for system validation and optimization
- Preparing necessary documentation, reports, and test plans for certification purposes
- Executing root cause analysis on prototype models, helping out with improvements on the design
What we are looking for
- You have a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline;
- Demonstrated strong team leadership skills;
- 10-15 years proven experience in electrical design;
- Experience in automation, PLCs and PCBs is a plus;
- Experience with electronics and high power electrical design;
- At least 6-8 years experience with EPLAN software;
- Ability to plan, strategize and find your way in flexible environments;
- Professional proficiency in English, Dutch is a bonus
- Living in The Netherlands or willing to relocate.
