The role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll boost our development process through smart automation and modern tooling. You’ll support development teams with stable, scalable CI/CD environments and help streamline workflows. Your strong foundation in development is a essential. Working in multidisciplinary teams, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge solutions while growing professionally and personally.
Your responsibilities:
Select, implement, and manage cutting-edge DevOps tools and self-service solutions.
Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Docker/ Kubernetes.
Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design scalable, reliable, and efficient DevOps solutions.
Set up and optimize virtual infrastructure, including hardware integrations, (sub)system onboarding, and hardware migrations.
Manage containerized applications and microservices using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
Deliver end-to-end monitoring, logging, and data analytics solutions.
Write and maintain robust Python code for test automation (Robot Framework) and scripting.
Work closely with developers, testers, and other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve integration and deployment challenges. Be a sparring partner to your peers and stakeholders.
Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure clarity and maintainability.

What's asked for
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
4+ years of work experience as a Software Engineer in a high-tech domain or embedded systems environments;
At least 3 years of work experience as a DevOps & Automation Engineer;
Strong programming skills in Python, and proficient in C++ and/ or C#;
Solid experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated build environments;
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes;
Practical knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
Familiarity with access and identity management systems (RBAC en IAM) and Agile way of working;
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Puppet;
You’re proactive, strategic, and solution-driven;
Motivation to continuously improve yourself and develop new skills;
A good command of English, and preferably Dutch language.
